Optional measurement with consent
When measurement is enabled on the website, you can choose whether to allow Google Analytics to measure clicks on WhatsApp, phone and email links. The tool loads only after explicit consent. Without consent, or when the browser sends a supported no-tracking signal, our measurement system does not load Google Analytics or send measurement events to it. Contact links work without consent.
What does this measurement send?
A click event contains the contact method, the button’s general location on the page, the content language and a broad page group such as article, guide or contact page. If the link includes a recognized source label, the event also includes one broad category: Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook, podcast or review QR link. Only these fixed labels are accepted; otherwise the source is unspecified. The label describes the link and does not prove the visitor’s actual source, for example when someone shares the link with another person. The page address is replaced with the website’s homepage address, with a generic title and no referring-page address. Our click measurement does not send article topics, exact page addresses, raw search parameters, WhatsApp message text, phone numbers or email addresses. A click does not establish that a message was sent or an enquiry completed.
Cookies and technical information
After consent, Google Analytics may use cookies and identifiers and process technical information, such as browser and device details and an IP address, to provide the service. This measurement should not be considered fully anonymous. Advertising and personalization features are not enabled in this system. Measurement cookies are configured for up to 90 days; the browser stores the consent choice for up to 180 days. If local storage is unavailable, the choice may last only until the page is closed. The broad source label is stored only after consent, in the browser tab’s session storage, so it can accompany clicks after navigation to another page on this website. A new recognized link label replaces the previous label; an invalid label clears it. Withdrawing consent clears the label. The full link address is not stored.
Changing your choice
When measurement is enabled, the “Measurement preferences” button at the bottom of the page lets you decline or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops future events from our click-measurement system and attempts to remove its measurement cookies from the browser. It does not automatically delete information already sent. Consent is not required to use the website or contact the business.
Hosting, external resources and enquiries
Cloudflare provides hosting, security and basic usage metrics and may process technical information as part of these services. Some pages also use fonts supplied by Google Fonts. These infrastructure services and resources are separate from optional click measurement. The website has no form for submitting personal medical information. Phone, email and WhatsApp contact links open the relevant service, which also has its own policies. Please avoid sending sensitive medical information in an initial message.
